Gooree Park Racing and Breeding

Established in 1980, Gooree Park Stud is renowned as one of Australia 's
leading thoroughbred nurseries. Gooree is situated 15km from
the vibrant town of Mudgee 230km north west of Sydney an easy 3 ½ to 4 hr drive from Sydney . The Cudgegong river traverses through the irrigated property while the undulating hill country complements the rich alluvial flats providing an ideal environment for the production of high class racehorses.

Gooree Park Stud's famous red and black stripes of Principal Mr Eduardo Cojuangco and his wife Mrs Gretchen Cojuangco have been carried to victory in hundreds of races over the last 25 years. Horses such as Don Eduardo (Group 1 AJC Derby), Snowland (Group 1 Galaxy), Tempest Morn (Group 1 Ansett Stakes) and the studs "Warhorse" Desert War (6 Groups 1's) who won the prestigious 2006/2007 'NSW Horse of the Year' and 'Australian Middle Distance Runner of the Year', have all raced in the red and black stripes of Gooree Park Stud.

Gooree Park Stud is divided into two unique properties. Our stud side and our racing complex which has a unique 2400m sand and turf track provides the complete package to grow and develop future stars of the Australian turf.
