Motown Testimonial: I felt the urge to write after such a fabulous experience I had at Mudgee Motown and what a discovery Mudgee was overall!! I'm a huge James Morrison fan so decided to go along to the show. I went with my husband and a large group of friends. I would have to say it was the most organised and enjoyable event I've been to in a long time. Not only were there great wines and amazing food on offer (at reasonable prices) I didn't have to queue all night to get them!. And there I was terrified of the inevitable...and finally I had to give in and go only to discover the loo was most acceptable! James Morrison of course didn't let me down but it was the organisation of the event, the venue and its facilities as well as Mudgee as a whole that made it one of the highlights of my concert going career. .jpg) On Saturday 25th September 2010, Gooree Park will again play host to James Morrison and his Motown show after the huge success of Motown in Mudgee 2009.
Gooree Park Wines has committed to sponsoring the event in 2010 and will continue its association with the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation of Australia in the hope to repeat last year's fund raising effort. Over $20,000 was raised last year all of which went towards much needed research and public education into this debilitating disease.
"The funds raised from last year's event have assisted the MDF of Australia to build awareness of Muscular Dystrophy. This in turn has resulted in directly helping people with MD by providing them with essential services and support. We appreciate the ongoing commitment from Gooree Park and would like to thank them and the community of Mudgee for helping us make a real difference. We look forward to another wonderful day at Gooree Park on September 25th." said David Jack, Chief Executive Office, MDF Australia.
The spectacular surrounds of Gooree Park and the international talent of James Morrison will make Motown in Mudgee 2010 the most sort after event on the Mudgee calendar.
The caliber of this partnership will deliver nothing short of excellent music, great wine, fantastic food and an atmosphere that will have them screaming for more.
"We are very fortunate to have James return to Gooree Park for Motown in Mudgee 2010.
The decision to hold the event again was an easy one to make. The positive feedback and requests we received to hold the event in 2010 from local and out of area people was overwhelming.
The event was hugely successful on so many levels and we look forward to repeating this and more at Motown 2010," said Jeanette Tioseco Business Manager of Gooree Park.

.jpg) To the fabulous organisers of Motown in Mudgee at Gooree Park: Thank you for putting on Motown in Mudgee 2009. We brought our three children and had the most beautiful day. What better way to spend an afternoon with friends and family than in the grounds of Gooree Park listening and dancing to fantastic music with the legendary James Morrison. The whole afternoon was really well planned which made it easy to park, get good food and of course great wine. The whole atmosphere was just perfect and we can't wait to bring the kids back in 2010. Thanks again Kiri & Mick
