Last Weekend:
Super Saturday came a week early for Gooree Park with 3 winners at Rosehill and also breeding the winner of the last race at Caulfield on Saturday the impressive Champagne Harmony.

The day kicked off at Rosehill with very promising Ashikaga returning from a spell winning in fine fashion over 1400m.  This Fusaichi Pegasus gelding has now won 5 from 7 starts and is highly promising.  His next start will be the Group 3 Newmarket Hcp at Newcastle in a fortnights time he is still Doncaster bound at this stage.

Common Objective won the 2400m race very impressively with a great ride by Chris Munce.  This Redoute's Choice gelding has come of age this preparation and looks a stayer of some promise.  This horse was sold at the Inglis Easter Yearling sales for $700,000 with Gooree retaining a 20% share in the horse.

The day was topped off with Rabbuka returning to form after his last start failure with a fine win over 1800m ridden by Blake Shinn.  On Saturday the horse was ridden off the pace and found the line strongly in a tight finish and added further to his imposing record.  Rabbuka the half brother to Northern Meteor will progress nicley through the Autumn and a good race is in store for him over the Autmn Carnival.

Champagne Harmony a Choisir filly won impressively at Caulfield in the last race on Saturday the fily ws sold by Gooree as a yearling for $340,000 to clients of Mark Cavanagh at Flemington and has now won 2 races from 3 starts.  She was impressive on Saturday and a stakes win looks in store for her down the track.

This Week:
Don Eduardo filly Autumn Ember who won impressively last Weednesday at Warwick Farm has unfortunately gone amiss suffering a small chip in her fetlock.  She requires surgery which will be performed at Randwick Equine Center this week and she will recieve a few months spell.  She will be seen later in the year and the extra time off certainley won't hurt her.

Promising 3 year old gelding Emotional Outburst runs at Kensington tomorrow in Sydney.  Winner of his only start impressively at Newcastle this Johannesburg gelding is out of a half sister to Northern Meteor a family that has been very kind to Gooree Park over the last 2 to 3 years.  Emotional Ourburst will be very hard to beat at Kensington tomorrow.

This Weekend:
Super Saturday at Flemington this weekend sees the return of high class colt Northern Meteor in the $1m Group 1 Newmarket Hcp.  Gai Waterhouse has been finely turning this colt and he is set to run a huge race this Saturday.

Also running on Saturday at Flemington is Gold Water impressive last start winner of the Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes she will start in the Group 2 Kewney Stakes and then return to Sydney for a program culminating in the AJC Oaks.
