Promising 3 year old filly Autumn Ember by Don Eduardo out of our former good stakes winning Flying Spur Mare Blab made it 2 from 2 when winning over 1400m at Warwick Farm on Wednesday. This fillys next run is on March 9th over 1600m at Warwick Farm. If successful here she may head onto the Listed Keith Nolan Classic at Kembla Grange.
Runners on Saturday include:
Consistent 5 year old gelding Ashikaga by Fusaichi Pegasus - this gelding won 4 from 6 last preperation at only his first start and resumes in the 1400m Welter at Rosehill. This is the hopefully the begining of a Doncaster Hcp preparation.
Giants Causeway gelding Rabbuka is out to redeem himself after a last start failure as odds on favorite at Randwick. Rabbuka was taken on for the lead early last start and wiltered to finish last. This half brother to Northern Meteor has since won a trial by two lengths at Randwick and is set to verify himself at Rosehill on Saturday over 1800m.
Gooree Bred horse Common Objective which we still retain 20% share in steps up to 2400m on Saturday at Rosehill after a solid win over 2100m at Gosford last start. This Redoute's Choice Gelding has been in fine form this preparation is stepping up to the mark and looking a staying horse of some promise.
